Today, people want to experiment and want to do different things on their mobile phones. Mobile phones provide such easy interfaces that you just have to apply your thumbs to different patterns. The gaming industry is coming up with brighter mobile phone games and mobile makers are coming with more color screened handsets to make your gaming experience even better.
It is seen that there’s only a small proportion of women driven to mobile gaming as compared to men. Some people think it’s because they don’t appeal much to women, some think the reason could be availability and convenience. Whether a man or a woman, everyone has spare time, while waiting for a bus or something similar. So the developers are having concerns over why mobile games not appealing much to women.

Mobile gaming is set to become big business in coming years and the industry hopes it will attract more women. A survey conducted showed that women are just too busy with the household work. They play games but this is limited to weekends or whenever they get time. They prefer watching soaps on TV than playing mobile games. The statistics show that over 90% girls download pictures and ringtones on their mobiles but less than 1% download mobile games. So the developers need to think more about what women find interesting and exciting. Or is it that mobile gaming would always be a male dominated activity?
